Ducon Concrete requires an experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join their well-structured, highly experienced precast division.

The Ideal Candidate will form part of the Senior Management team and should

• preferably be a Chartered Engineer with a Structural or Civil Engineering qualification
• have a minimum of 5 years design experience, including concrete design using Eurocodes and Building Standards for the Irish market
• have experience producing design statements and structural calculations
• possess strong analytical, problem solving and design skills
• have good interpersonal and communication skills

The successful candidate’s role will involve

• liaising with Clients, Consulting Engineers and Architects to meet their design requirements
• preparing design documentation
• managing detailing personnel and reviewing general arrangement and production drawings
• ensuring the quality and safety procedures are implemented at all stages of the process
